ABOUT OUR FOOD

Mel is the late 12th Century word for 'an occasion of taking food, a feast or supply of food at one time for relief of hunger' and is pronounced Meal. Mel is inspired by our historic Inn built in 1460 and like our kitchen's namesake it retains much of its classic charm.
